Not going to see a Car Accident Doctor after my CAR ACCIDENT was one of the the poorest choices I ever made. I had on going back and neck pain that could have been prevented!

I was rushing to get my children ready for school and out the door. When I stepped outside it was pouring cats and dogs. It was terrible! We all hurried into the car and I started my daily drive. I was approaching a green light when I saw a car slam on his brakes in the upcoming intersection. The road was slippery so his car slid into my lane.
BAM!!!
My first thought was "OMG, MY KIDS!" I turned my head to check on them. Thats when I felt the most terrible pain in my neck and back. I let out a loud yell, which scared my kids. Thank god they were strapped in and Ok. They looked absolutely fine. I was relieved. LITTLE DID I KNOW...

The Police came and good thing everybody was alive, it was a pretty awful wreck. The Beaumont police officer told me I was lucky and that I should see a medical doctor.

I went to the doctor and had me and my kids checked out. He saw I was in really bad shape with my neck and back so he prescribed me vicodin for the pain, and told me to decrease the dosage as the pain started to go away.. IT DIDNT! I had to keep increasing my dosages. My kids seemed O.K he released them without another thought! It wasn't till my daughter Kaylee started complaining about her neck hurting a couple of days later did I realize the damage that had been done. I took her back to the doctor and he wanted to give my child pain killers!! WHAT?!? Since my pain was still there and getting worse. I REFUSED! I walked out of there distressed and almost in tears!
